Sports Facilities

East Grinstead Sports Club is very proud to be one of the largest multi-sport sites in the area and boasts some of the most comprehensive array of top quality sporting facilities. All our facilities are open to the public for pay as you go or block bookings and available to individuals, clubs or companies. All facilities are supported by a substantial free car park (200 spaces), public licenced and catered bar/café, viewing balconies and plenty of changing rooms. Coaches are available to hire along with a variety of clubs and activities. Corporate event days can be tailored to your exact needs.

Indoor Sports Hall

Our fully heated Indoor Sports Hall was resurfaced in August 2008 and can host a plethora of sports and functions. The hall is marked for Badminton, Basketball, Cricket (nets and indoor matches), Hockey, Football, Mini Tennis, Netball and Volleyball with the addition of table tennis and archery facilities. The viewing balcony within the hall gives spectators a close-up view of all activities and being located directly off the main café/bar is very popular!

NEW 3G Artificial Pitch

Our NEW 3G artificial pitch has now been completed and is by far our most popular facility. The pitch is fully floodlit and marked up to host 4 x 5 a side football pitches, 1 full size football or hockey pitch including goals for both hockey and football. The 3G is overlooked by our outdoor balcony which surrounds our fully licenced public bar including big screen televisions showing live sporting events.

Waterbased Artificial Pitch

Built in 2002 the water-based pitch is one of the best in the country and built to an international specification. The pitch has gained approval for an Olympic 2012 pre-games training facility and with raised banks for spectator seating and team dugouts this is an extremely popular hockey venue providing a very fast and true playing surface. Other floodlit sports are also played in this area including bowls, cricket and tri-golf.

The EGSC Netball and Tennis Centre

One of our newest additions, the EGSC Netball Centre is one of the best outdoor facilities in the country. 3 Tiers of 3 Courts give an outstanding 9 Court facility for team training or large scale tournaments. One tier is also dual marked to include tennis with every court fully floodlit and plenty of spectating areas.

Cricket Square

The Saint Hill Cricket square boasts one of the largest outfields in the county and is overlooked by the fully equipped public clubhouse. Set in the beautiful surroundings of the sports club this is a great venue for corporate days as well as matches of all standards.

Jogging Trail

A unique feature of East Grinstead Sports Club is the 1km long wood-chip jogging trail that winds through our own woods.
