East Grinstead Sports Club is a registered charity committed to offering sporting opportunities, development and pathways for the all the local community at some of the best facilities in the South East. All our sports facilities are open to the public and we also offer a full range of professional quality sports coaching and open sessions for you to come and enjoy.

Term Time Junior Coaching

 
Football, Netball, Box 2B Fit
These sessions allow all children to develop their skills further. Each coach will devise a programme specifically designed for the development of sports skills so young athletes are able to follow their progression. Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch, support and enjoy a tea or coffee from the bar / café.

Basketball
Saints Basketball Club was formed just this year by former Brighton Bears coach, Rob Birchmore. The club offers feeder sessions for the beginners all the way to club nights for both boys and girls as we look ahead to our first year of competition.

Play for a £1
The play for a £1 sessions allow all children to come and join in with a variety of sports, which will change from week to week, to give kids a chance just to come have a go. All children are supervised at all times with fully qualified sports coach overseeing all sports.


Kids Holiday Courses
Children can take part in the Sports Club Holiday Courses which take part every school holiday and have been operating for over 7 years. A warm welcome is given to all those wanting to come and take part from the complete beginner to the more seasoned sports person. The range of sports on offer include Basketball, Mini Olympics, Football, Hockey, Netball, Cricket, Table Tennis, Tennis run by our in house coaches and Tri Golf in association with Mike Yorke Golf Academy and Archery run by Meridian Archery Club. Children can take part in whole week and whole day activities or pick and choose favourite sports. Brochures are available via all local schools and at the Sports Club.

Adult Pay n Play sessions
These Badminton and Table Tennis sessions are open to everyone to come and join us for some sport and the social element afterwards! Please contact reception for availablity.


School Curriculum Coaching
The Sports Club provides sports coaching to support local schools and teachers. The sessions run as part of the teachers Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time and are covered by fully qualified coaches. The sports include Football, Hockey, Netball, Fitness and Health and Cricket, each lesson and coach are under the guidance of the local schools and conform to the National Curriculum Standards. All sessions are developed in order for all children to reach their full potential in a variety of sports.
