EG Saints Basketball Club

Saints Basketball Club was formed in 2009 with the objective of offering Basketball to all and developing individual skills to ensure that participants reached their full potential.

The Basketball Club has had links with the Luol Deng Foundation and helped raise awareness of the plight of children in Africa whilst benefiting the clubs members by receiving coaching from Arek and Ajou Deng. 

Guest coaches are being brought in to give every child the chance to work with some of the counties top coaches and receive expert tuition as well as working with the main coach for the club.

East Grinstead Sports Club is currently in talks with one of the top Junior Clubs in Sussex to form links and progress the development of the club and its members through to playing at league level.

The club meets every Tuesday evening between 6pm and 8pm and sessions are currently open to all from age 8 to 18.  Members are split into groups according to age and ability but work on similar skills at the appropriate level.  The earlier session (6pm – 7pm) is targeted at Junior School children with the later session (7pm – 8pm) designed to work with children at Senior School.
